The program echoes the values received through the serial port back to the host computer. Values are also displayed on the LEDs. The program operates at 9600 baud, 1 stop bit, and no parity. For more information on USART module operation, please refer to the PICmicro Mid-range MCU Family Reference Manual for an operational description and a list of related application notes. For detailed information on the PICDEM 2 hardware, please refer to Appendix A.
