13.2

The TM32K has the following registers.

• Timer counter (TCNT32K)

• Timer control register (TCR32K)

13.2.1

Timer Counter (TCNT32K)

TCNT32K is an 8-bit readable up-counter. When the TME bit in the timer control register

(TCR32K) is 0, TCNT32K is initialized to H'00.

A correct value cannot be read if the counter is read while the 32-kHz oscillator is not in

operation (OSC32STP

= 1).

Time Control Register (TCR32K)

TCR32K enables the timer, stops the 32K oscillator, and selects the clock source to be input to

TCNT32K.

When this bit is set to 1, TCNT32K starts counting. When

this bit is cleared, TCNT32K stops counting and is
