Input Code vs Output Voltage Figure 37. Input Code vs Output Error 10 Power Supply Recommendations This device can operate within the specified supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V. The power applied to VDD should be well-regulated and low-noise. In order to further minimize noise from the power supplies, a strong recommendation is to include a 100-pF to 1-nF capacitor and a 0.1- μF to 1-μF bypass capacitor very close to the VDD pin. The current consumption of the VDD pin, the short-circuit current limit, and the load current for these devices are listed in the Electrical Characteristics table. Choose a power supply for these devices to meet the aforementioned current requirements.
