All inputs are 5-V tolerant when supplied from a 3.3-V supply and all outputs are 4-mA CMOS. The ISO7221 is characterized for operation over the ambient temperature range of –55°C to 175°C. These devices have limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
