2 / 8 page ![]() General Operation For the first five minutes after powering up, the Node operates in fast sample mode, sampling and sending data every two seconds. After five minutes, the Node defaults to five minute sample intervals and the LCD turns off to save power, which is ideal for the battery-powered models. Use the DIP switches or the User Configuration Tool (UCT) software to set the sample rate. To activate fast sample mode, single-click button 1. LED 2 is on (amber) during the fast sample mode. To exit fast sample mode and turn off the LCD, click button 2 five times. Sensors with a Serial Interface The following sensors are designed to be used with any of the 1-Wire Serial Interface Nodes.
