What is FLAT

FLAT usually means flat cable in electronic components.

They are generally much thinner, more flexible and have a flat construction compared to other types of cables.

Flat cables are especially useful in situations where you need to transmit data or power from one place to another.

For example, it is used to transmit signals between various parts such as displays, keyboards, and touchpads inside computers or mobile devices.

Also, flat cables are generally cheaper and more readily available than other cables, and are easier to install.

However, care must be taken as some cases may be more fragile than other cables.
