The Transmissive Optoschmitt SensorHOA096X/097X is a series of infrared sensors with a direct TTL interface, accurate position sensing, and four mounting configurations.
The sensor consists of an infrared emitting diode facing an Optoschmitt detector encased in a black thermoplastic housing.
The user can choose from available options such as detector aperture size, mounting tab configuration, and housing material.
The series utilizes IR transmissive polysulfone housing for smooth optical faces without external aperture openings, and an opaque polysulfone housing with aperture openings for maximum rejection of ambient light.
The housing material is polysulfone and is soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and ketones.
The device polarity can be set to buffer or inverter, and the electrical characteristics and absolute maximum ratings are provided.
The sensor also includes switching waveforms, IRED forward bias characteristics, and trigger current vs temperature graphs.
