The L4945 is a very low drop voltage regulator with a precise output voltage of 5V±4%.
It is designed for automotive and industrial electronic systems and can operate over a full temperature range of -40 to 125°C.
It has a very low voltage drop of 0.75Vmax and can handle an output current of up to 500mA.
The device also includes overvoltage and reverse voltage protections, as well as short circuit protection and thermal shutdown with hysteresis.
